DP Info Group partners with the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) to conduct a quarterly business sentiment index on Singapore SMEs. The objective of the index is to be able to provide a 6-month outlook of the SME community in relation to external economic conditions and activity.

The SBF-DP SME Index uses a weighted approach that balances qualitative and quantitative measures. The quantitative components track movements in industry turnover and profits, time taken to pay debts, credit ratings, as well as investor sentiment towards smaller SMEs.

Initiated in 2009, the SBF-DP SME Index is now one of the most insightful quarterly measures of SME sentiment available.
